ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Gary Griffin Homes, Inc is leading the industry in the Fort Smith area in methods of construction that save on utility bills.

Our seven standard energy features:

  1. Sprayed cellulose and Fiberglass insulation in exterior walls
  2. R-38 blown cellulose insulation in attics
  3. Vinyl Thermopane tilt windows
  4. Train 14 SEER air conditioning and 90+ gas furnaces
  5. All windows and exterior doors sealed with foam insulation
  6. Bottom plate of exterior walls sealed against concrete floor to prevent air infiltration
  7. Pre-sheetrock frame caulking coupled with outside house wrap further protects against air infiltration

Note of interest: Insects cannot survive in your attic or outside walls due to the fact that the product used to make cellulose fire retardant and UL approved is deadly to them.

CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS

Gary Griffin Homes is committed to maintaining a higher standard of structural integrity for each of our homes. Starting in the ground with the concrete footing we use double the required amount of reinforcement steel with a minimum concrete depth of 12 inches and a minimum ditch depth of 16 inches. We frame our homes only with number two or better lumber and use major name brand plumbing fixtures and faucets as well as name brand appliances. Every home has real oak custom built kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, wood wrapped window casings on all windows, and six pound pad under carpets. We build only maintenance free exteriors using brick and vinyl siding. Using the best materials on the market we strive for above industry standards in all our workmanship. For home quality second to none choose a Gary Griffin Home. We're building trust one home at a time.
